Curtains for COVID

The Face-shield Curtain Plans

To make the curtains in addition to the generic pattern and instructions, you will need:

  • a sewing machine with a zig-zag stitch, basic sewing skills
  • typical supplies like pins, thread, scissors, measuring tape ...
  • appropriate fabric, such as 80 to 120-count quilter's cotton
  • a small quantity of peel-and-stick hook-and-loop fastener (e.g. Velcro)
  • possibly some flat clips (such as Plastiklips),
  • a face-shield, and,
  • possibly some additional sewing items for connecting the curtain to the face-shield
  • If any of the above confuses you, it is probably best that you not proceed with this project. Also, there are a variety of different face-shield manufacturers and designs. You may have to make adjustments to accommodate the face-shield you have.
